Established in the scenic village of Barkheda Kharet in Madhya Pradesh's Sehore district, the Nico Roozen International Centre of Excellence for Regenerative Agriculture stands as a leading institution for advancing regenerative agricultural practices throughout India. Inaugurated on April 5, 2023, this center has rapidly become a cornerstone for training, capacity building, and practical demonstrations, all aimed at supporting a nationwide shift towards regenerative agriculture. Named after Dr. Nico Roozen, Honorary President of Solidaridad Network, the center is dedicated to advancing regenerative agriculture—a science-based revival of traditional farming methods that prioritizes environmental resilience, carbon sequestration, and regenerative agricultural practices.
