10-day ICAR Short Course
As part of a 10-day ICAR Short Course titled "Accounting Methodologies for Agricultural Carbon Credits for India’s Climate Action and Net Zero-Emission," organised at ICAR IISS, a delegation of 25 participants visited the NicoRozen Centre on February 14, 2026.
The group—comprising scientists, assistant professors, and subject matter specialists from various ICAR institutes, State Agricultural Universities (SAUs), and Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)—was accompanied by senior scientists from ICAR-IISS.
Participants were introduced to the core mission of the Nico Roozen Centre, focusing on its role in advancing regenerative agriculture systems.

4. Renewable Energy: Integration of bio gas unit and solar powered pump within farm operations.
5. Nutritional Security: A dedicated nutrition garden modeling diversified, sustainable food production.
The visit provided the participants with practical insights into how regenerative practices directly contribute to sustainable livelihood and climate resilience.
